Illinois Tornado Survivor Finds His Missing Dog After Digging Through Rubble

Byler Dann's Washington, Illinois home was at ground zero for the terrible twisters that terrorized the Midwest this week.   He was able to get his family into the shelter as the tornado was coming, but couldn't coax the family dog to join them.

Weather Underground blogger/photographer Charles Ledford was covering the scene when he met the family and captured the moment Bylan found his dog Maggie.

After they emerged from the shelter, they found that their home had been destroyed.   At first their dog was no where to be found.  But after some searching and some digging, they found her.
