For many families this is a second go round with the Insane Inflatable 5K Course, maybe this is your first.  If it is, talk to the families about their experience last year and watch the faces of your kids this year, you'll see ultimate joy as they master the course with zeal.  If you find they enjoy this activity, why not continue their quest for running and racing?

One of the cool things about the Insane Inflatable 5K is that each year a different non-profit organization is chosen to receive a donation from the event.  This year the funds go toward Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society.

David Drew's 2015 Review

If your kids are or were inspired by a day at the Insane Inflatable 5K course, continue their quest for running every Wednesday with Grandma's Marathon and their Wednesday Night at the Races.  They start July 27 and are held at a different location each Wednesday through August 31 when they end with a picnic.  The best part is they are absolutely free to participate and your child will go home with a participation ribbon.

On average there are 400 children who attend each Wednesday so your child is sure to make new friends.  Registration is held from 5:00 to 5:30p at that week's race location with the start time of the first race at 6:00p.  When course conditions allow, the first race is the with the Courage Duluth wheelchair division.  That is followed by the youngest age group and continues to the oldest children.

Let the fun of the Insane Inflatable 5K inspire a lifetime of healthy exercise and a sport your kids can continue to excel at through their college years and beyond.
