Hurry! There’s Still Time To Become A Member Of the Lake Superio Zoo So You Don’t Miss The M.A.D Safari

I LOVE the zoo and the animals LOVE when you come to visit!  The picture above was when I had the honors of visiting up close and personal with Lucky and her friends. If you're not a member of the Lake Superior Zoo yet, what are you waiting for, you're missing out on SO MUCH FUN!  What does M.A.D stand for?  Member Appreciation Day.  But, even if you aren't a member...yet, you can easily become one and get in on the M.A.D. Safari on Thursday, June 12, 5-7:30p.  Plus, there are SO many other benefits of being a member of the Lake Superior Zoo!

The Safari is an exclusive members-only event that honors you for your support and will include:

•   Animal enrichments and feedings every 20 minutes
•  Tours of the Willard Munger Animal Care Center from 5pm to 6 pm (normally   closed  to the public)
•  Entertainment-- Duluth Photo Booth, live music by Hannah Rey, books for children provided by the United Way’s Big Red Bookshelf, kids games
• Food-- Candy Buffet Bar, Coca-Cola refreshers, outside concessions
• Prizes and more!

No reason to feel left out, they are going to let you sign up as a member up until the party!  Here's how:

Family memberships are just $65 and anyone wishing to take part in the event can purchase a membership in advance at the zoo, over the phone, online or at the zoo on Thursday evening at the event. Questions about membership can be directed to Mark Estes at (218) 730-4500 ext. 311.

Public Notice: On Thursday, June 12th the last general admission to the zoo will be 3 p.m. The zoo will close to non-members at 4:00 pm. The Lake Superior Zoo staff appreciates the public’s understanding of the early closure of the zoo for the annual M.A.D Safari.
