Hundreds Sample Pizza and Wings at UMD’s Kirby Ballroom [PHOTO GALLERY]
Nearly 500 hungry Northlander’s gathered in the Kirby Ballroom at UMD for the 2nd annual Pizza and Wing Showdown. Mouth’s were watering and fingers were coated in sauce as the crowd sampled pizza and buffalo wings from several Twin Port’s eateries.
Not only did attendees get to enjoy some great food, they also had the important task of deciding which was the best pizza and the best wings, here are the results:
Pizza Showdown
- 1st Place – Farley’s Family Restaurant
- 2nd Place (tie) – Green Mill & Bulldog Pizza
Wing Showdown
- 1st Place - Grizzly’s
- 2nd Place (tie) – Clyde Iron Works & The Other Place
