Every Wednesday at 8:10 we call up Sara at Animal Allies to discuss what's going on at the shelters.  Of course we talked about the upcoming walk for animals, and we also were introduced to Holly, a Plott Hound mix at the Superior Shelter.

Here's what the shelter has to say about Holly:

Meet Holly - a happy go lucky plott hound dog. Holly loves to go for walks. She happily comes to the front of her kennel and eagerly greets you with a wagging tail. Holly would be a wonderful walking partner as she has plenty of energy and stamina for long distance walks. Holly is a beautiful girl. She has the cutest bunny ears - they stand right up! Holly is reported to be perfectly house trained and good with cats and older children. However, she can be somewhat particular about making friends with new dogs and would prefer to be an only dog. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her shots. If you would like to meet this wonderful girl please stop by Animal Allies Superior.

The Superior shelter is located at 2225 Hill Avenue.  If you would like to get in touch with Animal Allies, give them a call at their main office at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth.  The number is 218-722-5341.
