Just when we got use to the way it was, it's changing, on a holiday weekend!  We have already been warned that the road construction is already going to delay travel to our destination, now they're throwing a lane switch in on Friday, the day that everyone is trying to get out of Dodge!  Grin and bare it, you've been forewarned. (pass it on to friends and family that might be traveling too)!

Motorists traveling on Interstate 35 near Scanlon will encounter a traffic switch Friday, August 31. All traffic will be switched from the southbound lanes to the newly-constructed northbound lanes where traffic will merge into a single-lane in each direction. The southbound lanes will close and construction will begin on that side of the interstate. (does this mean they are half way done)?

The southbound ramps at County Road 1 in Esko and Highway 45 in Scanlon will also close while the southbound lanes are being reconstructed.

The northbound ramps at County Road 1, which have been closed since June, will reopen on Friday, August  31. (yay)!
