After winning back-to-back state titles, Hermantown Hawks boys head hockey coach Bruce Plante announced his retirement.  Today, his replacement was announced.

Our partners at WDIO are reporting that Patrick Andews, who had served as a Hawks assistant coach, will be promoted to head coach, pending school board approval.  Andrews is also a social studies teacher at Hermantown Middle School.

Nate Buck, another current assistant, will remain on the new coaching staff.
