It looks like the Gander Mountain in Hermantown is not one of the 32 stores that are closing as the company is filing for bankruptcy protection.

With Fleet Farm coming into town within a mile of Gander Mountain, there was concern that the Hermantown location could've been one of the stores getting the axe, but it seems like that's not the case.

According to GoMN.com and a call over to customer service at the store, it is confirmed that the Hermantown Gander Mountain is staying open.

The Minnesota based company put out a press release on March 10th stating that they are filing for "voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code."

GoMN News is reporting that the Rogers, Woodbury and Mankato stores are the ones in Minnesota that are going to close down.
