Here’s Why Real Christmas Trees Burn Down Houses [Video]
This last weekend, there was enough snow on the ground at my cabin to safely have this fire. We had a pine tree that had fallen down on the road. When you are logging, you have to "limb" the tree. (As in take of the branches).
This was a pine tree, so obviously the branches were pine needles. AND THEY WERE FRESH, NOT DRY! And this is what happened:
It didn't take hardly anything to get this fire going, and this wasn't even as big as a full Christmas tree, just a pile of pine needle branches in a pit. That's why I use an artificial tree!
