Northern Pike are really tasty and you can get a lot of meat out of them.  There is only two problems with them.  First, they are slimy fish.  Really slimy (the meat isn't).  Secondly, they have those pesky y bones that scare some people away.  This is my friend's dad Steve who has been cleaning these fish for years.  He's humble about it, but I haven't found anyone else that can do as good at cleaning Northern fillets than Steve.  Here he is in action.
