Christmas Tree Deliver Will Cause Delays Friday Morning

If you work or need to drive in the downtown Duluth area on Friday, November 7 here's your warning. A HUGE Christmas tree deliver is going to take place in the morning so you may need to alter your route.

The City of Duluth wants you to know that at approximately 10:00 a.m., a large Christmas tree is being delivered and set up by the Minnesota Power Building located at the South West corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street. The southbound lane of Lake Avenue just south of Superior Street will be blocked, but only for about 1 hour.

The City of Duluth Police Department will be there providing traffic control. Please plan for delays and take alternative routes.

While this may be a slight inconvenience for some, it's exciting! It's the start of the holiday season and it will come fast! Soon we'll be watching the Christmas City of the North parade and be holiday shopping downtown. I can't wait for the holiday season to begin!
