Has this ever happened to you?   We left the boat tied to the dock for a few days, and came back to this.   A sunken boat.  Darn.

Here's how it happened... there was A LOT of rain that fell, probably causing the boat to fill up partially with water, weighing it down.  Then we had heavy winds, strong enough to take down a few trees in the area.  That must have caused some big waves to splash over the transom and further fill up the boat.  I'm sure once it hit the tipping point, it was all over.

Good news was it only took a couple of hours to bail out.

Now we turned the boat around so the bow is facing the lake, and are in the process of hooking up a float with the existing bilge pump.
