For 36 years, Grandma's Marathon has had runners racing down the Scenic North Shore with a goal in mind.  For a few it's to finish first, for others, like myself, it's JUST to finish.

This will be my 12th half marathon and boy, do I have stories to share.  The best place to be during the marathon is on the course with the runners!  The camaraderie is amazing and there are SO many wonderful volunteers along the course.

Whether your story is about your training leading up to the race,  something that may have happened at the Essentia Health Expo, while you were racing, or volunteering, Grandma's Marathon wants to hear about it!

You just might have your story shared in this year's Media Guide and or shared with media covering the week-end events.  Here's what you do:

Briefly describe your story in 300 words or less and email it (subject line: MY STORY) to Bob Gustafson at bob@grandmasmarathon.com. Please be sure to include your name, city and state, and whether you are running in Grandma’s Marathon, the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon or the William A. Irvin 5K.

Thanks for sharing!  If you're volunteering, thank you.  If you're running, good luck!  Have a great week-end and we'll see you under the Big Top Tent after the race!
