This Sunday runners and walkers get a special chance to race in the heart of downtown Duluth with Grandma's Marathon's Minnesota Mile and St. Luke's "Walk A Mile For Breast Cancer."  There are still spots available for both events and you can register online at grandmasmarathon.com. Participants in the MN Mile have a chance to be randomly selected to receive 1 of 250 half marathon entries for the Gary Bjorkland Half Marathon next summer.

The one mile MN Mile races start at 9 am at the Fitger's complex.  The course runs straight down Superior Street to the Holiday Center.  After the Mn Mile races, participants in the St. Luke's Walk will wear their pink shirts and walk a mile for awareness of breast cancer.  Also, $10 of each entry goes directly to the St. Luke's breast cancer research and awareness fund.
