Grand Opening Of The Public Saftey Building In Duluth

Wednesday, February 8, marks a special day in the history of the City of Duluth, and you are invited to attend! Be part of the celebration and grand opening of the new Public Safety Building.
Mayor Don Ness, Police Chief Gordon Ramsay, city officials will hold a news conference with St. Louis County Commissioners and county officials to celebrate the grand opening of the new police headquarters on February 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
The Public Safety Building houses the St. Louis County Sheriff Offices, 911 Communications, and is the new headquarters for the Duluth Police Department. The Mayor, Police Chief, County Board Chair Keith Nelson and Sheriff Ross Litman will make remarks. Following the ceremony, staff will provide a tour of the new facility.
An open house is planned from 5-7 p.m. that evening. This event is open to the public.
