This bill will take effect on August 1st. The bill enhances current laws regarding the production and use of synthetic drugs in Minnesota.
This bill will also allow the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy to expedite rule making authority in order to handle the ever changing chemical make up of synthetic drugs.
The law will also increase the penalty for the selling of the illegal synthetics. Those convicted could receive up to 5 years in jail, a $10,000 fine or both.
