This is getting ridiculous.  Gas prices have soared now to $4.39 a gallon in some parts of Duluth, and it can only be expected to keep climbing.  According to Minnesota Gas Prices, as of 11:25 am Friday, at least 3 stations raised the price to $4.39 a gallon for regular unleaded.

Visiting the site will show you the best prices, but there's no guarantee that when you get there the price wouldn't have gone up in the time it took you to get there.

Mn Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken have contacted the Department of Energy to see if anything can be done to prevent this from happening, and trying to get those shut down refineries back online.

Adding to frustrations is that nationally gas prices are lower this year than they were last year at this time.  Only the Midwest is feeling the pinch because of these refinery closures in Illinois and Indiana.
