Former Last Place On Earth Owner Sentenced to 17.5 Years In Prison
Today Jim Carlson was given his sentence for selling synthetic drugs from "The Last Place On Earth" in Duluth.
According to NNCNow.com, during the sentencing that began this morning at 9 a.m., Carlson has been sentenced with 17.5 years in prison and hit with a $25,000 fine.
During sentencing Thursday, Carlson told the judge that he has ended his relationship with co-defendant Lava Haugen and pleaded that they dismiss her pending sentence.
Despite his pleas, Haugen was sentenced with five years in prison, drug treatment and three years of supervised release.
