For many it's an inconvenience, but one that will be well worth waiting for.  It's the next phase  to reconstruct the five way intersection that was severely damaged by the June 2012 flood.  Here's what you need to know to make travel easier for you.

The intersection they'll be working on is where Highland St., Getchell Rd., Vinland St. and Skyline Parkway all meet. As of Today, they expect it to be closed for three weeks.

According to nncnow.com this is the next phase of the $10.7 million project to reconstruct Highland St. and 57th Ave. W, which together make up County State Aid Highway 89.

This five way intersection is being reconfigured into a standard, four-way intersection with turn lanes.  No more pulling up and guessing whose going to go next!

Who will be affected?  Motorists traveling across Skyline Parkway, as well as anyone traveling to and from Proctor via Vinland St. and Getchell Rd.  But, there are many different route options to get you to where you're going.

It is the last major road construction project linked to the June 2012, we're almost there!
