We all knew it had to happen sooner or later.

While we've seen flurries a couple of times this fall, the first plowable snow for Minnesota and Wisconsin is set to hit our neighbors south in I-35 in the Twin Cities and West Central Wisconsin Tuesday night. The National Weather Service is predicting 4-6 inches of snow, with a potential for locally higher amounts leading to a winter storm watch for Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Needless to say, if you're planning on heading south tomorrow, be aware things could be messy. As far as things go for the Twin Ports region, flurries are possible, and some areas of Northwestern Wisconsin could see 1-3 inches of snow when it's all said and done.
