Is the Fargo Woman Giving Letters Instead of Halloween Candy Really Just a Big Hoax?

The internet exploded this week with news that a Fargo woman was going to hand out letters instead of candy to kids she deemed as “moderately obese,” but is it all just a hoax?

A radio host out of Tampa is calling foul on ‘The Morning Playhouse,’ the morning show out of Y94 in Fargo. Todd Schnitt says the station orchestrated the letter story, claiming that “Cheryl” is the same woman the show used as “Donna the Deer Lady” last December. He tweeted at the station and received this response:
