It's a little early, but I wanted to give you time to come up with an awesome costume that your kids will love and passes the safe-to-wear factor!   At least parents can feel comfortable that there is a safe SUPER fun place to trick or treat, at the Lake Superior Zoo's Boo at the Zoo!  Hurry, it's coming soon!

Tickets are on sale NOW!  The event is SO big, it's held two weekends, Saturdays, October 11th & 18th, from 10 am to 4 pm.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Boo at the Zoo is the Northland’s premiere Halloween event for families. You get to trick or treat within the safe and beautiful grounds of the Lake Superior Zoo with the animals watch YOU for a change, lol. Enjoy the too-many-to-count treat stations throughout the zoo (be sure to stop by the B105 booth).  There is Halloween-themed activities to keep you busy, food vendors to fill your tummy and hundreds of zoo animals that will be thrilled to see you!

Activities planned that day include a huge pumpkin patch to play in, hourly costume contests, free hayrides, face painting, games, and a special “Creepy Critters” animal exhibit.   Now of the activities are scary, all are designed to be fun for kids, minus the scare factor. Plus, they NEVER run out of candy, so arrive anytime.

Tickets are $9 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the zoo, online until October 7th, or at any area Little Store through October 19th. Adult members of the Lake Superior Zoo are admitted for free, as are children under age 2 who are not trick or treating. Children 2 and older must purchase a ticket.

Some of the zoo’s animals will be enjoying some very special Halloween treats of their own at Boo at the Zoo.  Wanna watch?
