Here's why facebook will never charge you!

The way Facebook makes money is thru advertising.  Just like radio.  When you listen to us, you don't pay to listen to us.  If we started charging, then no one would be listening.  If you don't have anybody listening, companies don't want to advertise with you.

It's the same for facebook.  Facebook has millions (if not yet a billion) of users who spend hours staring at ads.  You may not realize you are doing it, but you are.  If Facebook ever charged, they would lose a lot of people that use it because it's free.  They would shoot themselves in the foot.

You know when you write down your interests, that Facebook has algorithms that will show you ads on the side that pertain to your interest.  Here's a great example.  I put down that I'm into aviation on my profile.  Last night on the right side I saw and advertisement for Pan Am, a new series on ABC.  When 9 o clock came around, I flipped over to watch the show since I knew the premiere was on tonight from the Facebook ad.

Look at your interests that you wrote down on your info, and I guarantee you there will be an ad on the right side of the screen that will relate to an interest.

Facebook will never, ever, charge you.
