Some adults still don't wear bike helmets and on rare occasion I see a child without one.    If you have a child or children that either doesn't have a bike helmet or has outgrown theirs, here is your chance to pick one up for free while supplies last from Essentia Health's Passport To Adventure event.

Essentia Health has developed an event that celebrates our healthy community with active kids and families and it's coming up this Wednesday, June 28 from 4-6:30p at the Essentia Health Duluth Heritage Sports Center, 120 South 30th Avenue West.

The event is free to attend and there will be so much for you and your family to do!  Essentia Health will be holding a bike rodeo and giving away free bike helmets, while supplies last. Be aware that your child/children need to be present for proper fitting. Or, bring in your current bike helmet and they will make sure it's fitting properly.  If you have children who are into the sport of soccer, there will be a soccer clinic where they can get helpful tips that will help them excel at the sport.

The event is held at dinner time, but no worries, they are preparing a healthy dinner just for you.  Plus, there will be a host of community organizations available to talk to, along with games, activities and free ice skating, so bring your skates!

Parents:  There will be representatives from Essentia there with a Job Recruitment Meet & Greet.  You can visit with them about job opportunities at Essentia.  Whether you're looking for a job or want to make a career change, this would be a great time to get face to face time to get your questions answered.
