Who needs Rockerfeller Center, we have our own Tree Lighting Ceremony at Center City Park in Superior!  Young families, here's your chance to start your own holiday tradition. Or, perhaps you're going to be out of town on Christmas or the kids are grown and out of the house, there are many reasons that people choose not to put a tree up in their home.  This community tree can be enjoyed by all and you don't want to miss all the fun that comes with it!

Celebrate the season on Wednesday, November 16 when they light the Holiday Tree in Center City Park (corner of Belknap & Tower Avenue), Superior.  Bone up on your Christmas Carols and sing along to the festive music!  Enjoy a snack of hot dogs, cookies and hot chocolate.  The fun starts at 5:30 and they'll keep you busy until 7:00.  The tree will be lit at 6:00p by Mayor Burce Hagen and Santa Claus.

Bring the camera and get your Christmas Card shots with Santa!!! That's right, luckily it's early enough in the year that he can leave his management of the elves making the toys and join us at this annual event.

The weather may be chilly, but you can warm you heart by bringing a donation for the Salvation Army.  They'll be there collecting donations of non-pershible food items and personal hygiene products.

A special thanks goes to the Superior Chamber Ambassadors, volunteers and the Superior BID who make this night possible.
