Just last month, residents of West Duluth were shocked to learn that the Iron Mug Coffee House was closing its doors for good.

The announcement was made on Facebook. The post didn't give much of an explanation as to what led to the closing, just that they were grateful for their four years in Morgan Park.

Fans flocked to the comment section, voicing their disappointment.

The good news is the closure didn't last long - the coffee staple will open its doors once again.

The big news was posted to their Facebook page earlier this week, with a post that said, "Welcome to our page! This is Mike Letica, the new owner of the Iron Mug. I'm happy to announce that the Iron Mug will reopen on June 9th! Please stop in and say hi."

According to Letica's own Facebook profile, the store will open with two other partners.

To celebrate the grand re-opening, there will be live music, food and drinks on opening night from 5 to 11 p.m. You can get event details here.

'Iron Mug Coffee House' first opened in July of 2014. It's located at 1096 88th Avenue West in the Morgan Park neighborhood.
