Talented volunteers gathered this past Saturday to start turning Bayfront Festival Park into the much anticipated Bentleyville Tour of Lights, America's largest free walk through lighting display.  It will take several weeks of volunteer hours to put the enchanted wonderment together for thousands to enjoy.

You may think it's early to begin the building of Bentleyville, but it will take nine weeks to make sure everything is in order for opening day which is November 19th. The organizers are promising some changes this year. Bigger is the first thing that will catch your eye, you'll notice that the location that Santa gets to visit with you has moved and there will be new paths.

Volunteers need to be at least the age of 16+.  Just show up, you don't need to pre-register.  Volunteers are needed every weekend from 8a-4p, both Saturday and Sunday and lunch will be provided for these weekend shifts.  They are also getting together on Wednesday, from 5-8p.  What will you be doing?  Getting the lights out, wrapping trees and getting things in place.
