Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3 is Election Day.  The Duluth Transit Authority, (DTA) wants to help ensure a good voter turnout and is helping by offering free rides for some of their routes.  Find out which ones, here.

In 2013, State Legislation was passed to help with low voter numbers.  In accordance with that legislation, the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) will be offering passengers riding the fixed-route service, free fares in Duluth.  Look for the DTA buses that have the custom made Duluth Pack fare box covers with signs that say, “FREE RIDES VOTE TODAY!”

There will be some exclusions, they include any STRIDE service and passengers utilizing Routes 16 and 17 in Superior, WI.  However, if you board Route 16 in Duluth with the destination of Superior, you'll still qualify for a free fare.

Let your voice be heard, get out and vote.  If you don't have transportation, use the FREE service from the DTA.
