The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation department, in partnership with the Duluth Heritage Sports Center, organizes open skate sessions throughout the year for Northland residents.  It's now about the time of year to change from the summer schedule to the school year schedule.

Duluth Parks and Recreation has announced that the last summer session will be this Wednesday, August 31, from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.  There will then be a break in skating sessions.

The first school year open skate session will be Wednesday, September 14, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  These will then continue to run every Wednesday that school is in session at that same evening time.

Open skating is free to all participants. Children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult and please note that skates are not provided so make sure to bring your own.
