The Duluth Police Department has sent a press release asking for the public's help in locating suspects that are wanted for robbery and theft of a vehicle.  If you have information, please share it with law enforcement.  Here's what happened Monday night.

This past Monday, February 17th, 2014 at 9:23 PM Duluth Police were called to the #10 block of East 6th Street on the report of a robbery and stolen vehicle.

Initial investigation revealed a 34 year old male victim drove up to a residence to pick up a female friend, when six black male suspects came out of her residence to his car. One of the male suspects opened the passenger door and pointed a handgun at him and five other suspects pulled him out of the car and started punching him. The suspect with the gun then came over and started hitting him with the butt of the handgun, took his wallet and drove off in the victim’s vehicle eastbound on 6th Street while the other suspects ran off.

The suspect with the gun was described as a 17 year old black male, 6 feet tall. The victim and the suspect with the handgun were known to each other. The victim was transported to Essentia St. Mary’s hospital to treat his non-life threatening injuries.

Then, on Tuesday, February 18th, 2014 at 12:14 AM a Duluth Police Sergeant located the stolen 1992 Subaru, unoccupied in the 200 block of East 4th Street.
