A morning burglary was thwarted by an employee catching the thief in action on Wednesday morning at a local business.  Duluth Police are asking for your help in apprehending the suspect.  Please remember to share these details on your social media.  The more people that know about it, the better chance to find the suspect!

It happened on Wednesday, March 26th, at 8:35 AM.  Duluth Police responded to a burglary that had just occurred at the Miller Auction House, 2803 West Superior Street.

A 51 year old female arrived at work to find an unknown male in her office attempting to steal her work computer and tablet. There was a scuffle between the two and the suspect pulled out a knife.  The female grabbed a broom and hit the suspect, then she and another  female chased the suspect.  He ran through the Western Café and was last seen westbound on Superior Street.

He was described as a white male, 6'2" tall with a thin build.  He was wearing a dark colored facial mask and dark green camo jacket.

The Duluth Police Department is investigating and following up on leads. No further information is available at this time. If anyone has any information about this incident they are asked to call 911 or use the DPD Tip411 system.
