My car was broken into several years ago and boy did I feel violated!  They only took some CD's and tapes (now you know how long ago it was) and my stuffed Alf doll (yes, I'll admit it).  But, why can't people just leave other people's stuff alone?  Now, the Duluth Police need your help with damage to vehicles in the Northland.

Here's what went down.  On Tuesday the Duluth Police Department received calls from  approximately 35 people regarding damage to their vehicle windows, 35!!!!!  They are saying it was likely that the windows were shot out by a pellet or BB type gun.

The Proctor Police also reported three vehicle windows shot, as well as one business that had windows shot. The majority of these incidents occurred overnight in the western side of Duluth.

They say they are following up on leads but, are asking anyone who may have witnessed any of the incidents or who may have information about these crimes to call 911 or the Duluth Police Property Crimes Unit at (218)730-5160.

You may also choose to leave an anonymous tip via the tip411 program from the Duluth Police department.
