A bold move by a thief was thwarted on Wednesday when an employee of the business he was robbing put up a fight.  Duluth Police are asking if you have any information that can help them apprehend this burglar.  Please also share this on social media, the more people that are aware of it, the quicker a tip may come in.On Wednesday, March 26th, at 8:35 AM Duluth Police responded to a burglary that had just occurred at the Miller Auction House, 2803 West Superior Street.

Initial investigation revealed a 51 year old female arrived at work to find an unknown male in her office attempting to steal her work computer and tablet. There was a scuffle between the male suspect and the female victim. The suspect pulled out a knife and the female grabbed a broom and hit the suspect. The female victim and another female chased the suspect and he ran through the Western Café and was last seen westbound on Superior Street.

The suspect was described as a white male, 6’2” tall with a thin build.  He was wearing a dark colored facial mask and dark green camo jacket.

The Duluth Police Department is investigating and following up on leads. No further information is available at this time. If anyone has any information about this incident they are asked to call 911 or use the DPD Tip411 system.
