Duluth Parks & Recreation Department to Hold Meeting to Discuss Proposed Building of New Soccer Field

Lakeside Lester Park Soccer Club is looking for the community support at a meeting this next Monday, June 17th, at the Portman Community Club.  The Duluth Parks & Rec department will discuss the proposal starting at 6:30. 

On the soccer club's Facebook page they say there is a need for new soccer fields:

As you may know, we are in need of more soccer fields in our community to keep Lakeside / Lester Park Soccer valid option for our kids. Over the last couple of years our club continues to grow … but, we are running out of fields to practice on and we are in need of more game fields too.
