If you're out and about in Duluth this week and notice a firefighter approaching with a boot in hand, you aren't in any trouble.  The Fill The Boot campaign is once again underway to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association find urgently needed treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases that severely limit strength and mobility.

According to their press release, fire fighters from Duluth Fire Department Local 0101 are fanning out across the city with boots in hand for this year’s drive through Wednesday evening.

If you see them, please donate what you can to this worthy cause as every little bit helps and these guys are working hard to make a difference.  Not only that, but you can get a sticker for you or the kids when you do make a donation.
