It's hard enough to get around our Downtown Duluth Government Offices, so many floors of offices with each one attending to a different need.  If you are planning to make a trip you need to know that the front entry will be temporarily inaccessible due to construction and will have to take an alternate route to your destination.

Construction is slated to start next Monday and they'll be repairing the front entry stairs of Duluth City Hall, facing Priley Drive. They felt the need to do this because deteriorating conditions over the years,.  The stairs are in need of repair and will require complete closure of the stairs at the front doors entering City Hall from Priley Drive. The closure will take about three weeks, pending favorable weather conditions.

So How Do I Enter City Hall?

There are additional City Hall entries located on West 2nd Street and 4th Ave West, both of which have electronic doors for ADA accessibility. I suggest you use those or the West First Street doors will also be open.

Additionally, the City says that parking meters (#CV7 to #CV13) directly in front of the repair project will be posted no parking for the duration of the stair closure.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience.
