Downtown Duluth Parking Ramp Will Be Closing For Repair

It isn't going to happen until next month, but I wanted to give y'all time to find an alternative parking location. The parking ramp next to the Depot on West Michigan Street is closing for repair.  I worked downtown Duluth for a few months and was lucky that the company I worked for, paid for my parking in a ramp.  If they hadn't done that, I'm not sure where I would have been parking, or how much it would have cost. 

The City of Duluth is notifying the public about the closure of the parking ramp next to the Duluth Depot. The ramp has significant structural deficiencies and is in need of repair. The ramp will be closed starting May 1, 2012 with work extending into June and July. Alternative parking is available on the street or at the nearby ramp located on Michigan Street at 5th Ave West.
