Douglas County Is Seeking Seasonal Employees

Summer is a lot more fun when you have some money to spend on the things you want to do.  Seasonal jobs aren't always easy, but they are a great way to earn some cash and spend time outdoors.  Douglas County is currently looking to hire seasonal highway workers near Hawthorne, but the deadline to apply is fast approaching.

According to the job description, the workers will: perform general highway maintenance assigned laborer tasks involving the use of hand tools and operation of motorized equipment, including but not limited to traffic flagging, mowing with light duty tractors, pot hole patching and general labor.
