Have you seen the map of the US that shows the majority of the country under an 'above snowfall' map for this coming winter? It's been shared 6400 times as of now and climbing. The source of this map is not from a weather authority.  Nor is it even from the Old Farmer's Almanac (which is also bs, if you ask me.) Nope, the source of this is from a snowmobile parts store.

I'm assuming what they are doing is really a two fold situation. First off, they are probably wishful thinking as anyone of us that rides snowmobiles are always hoping for a snowy winter. Second, they are definitely getting their name out there in a publicity stunt so people will think of them when they inevitably need parts for their sled.

In fact, it's been reported from NOAA that this year could be a warmer and drier than average winter with the possibility of another El Nino.

So once again, before you hit share on Facebook, be sure to look at the source.  Don't get me wrong I'm praying for snow (BRAAAP), but I'm not getting my hopes up.
