It's called Give Kids A Smile and is an annual event in February to ensure children are provided with proper dental care and knowledge to keep their teeth healthy.

I've been going to the same dentist office since before I had teeth.  I remember going with my mom when she had an appointment and couldn't WAIT for the day I got to sit in the dental chair.  I know, crazy right?  Honestly I think laying in the dental chair is SO relaxing, unless of course they are drilling.

Unfortunately, there are lots of kids across the state that have never been to the dentist, not because they don't want to but because their families can't afford to bring them.  Some dentists across the state of Minnesota are trying to change that offering free dental care.

There are some stipulations, you have to be 18 years or younger and have your parent or legal guardian with you when you come for the service and you need to schedule your appointment ahead of time.  More than 200 dental offices will be providing the free service in Minnesota.

According to WDIO.com you just need to the toll-free number:  800.543.7709 to make an appointment for either February 6 or 7, 2015.
