For a few years now I've been telling all of my friends about merino wool and what a great thing it is.  I've always looked for merino wool socks while shopping.  There are several brands out there that use it, including the popular SmartWool, and other more bargained priced ones.   Last year I received my first pair of Vermont Darn Tough Socks.  I doubt I will ever buy a different brand of wool socks.

These socks do exactly what other merino wool socks do, but better.  They don't ball up, or shrink or slide of your ankle in your boat.  They fit your feet like a glove!  I've worn them hunting, hiking, and ice fishing and never had to adjust them.

My feet stay toasty, and they don't itch at all.   They are so comfortable, I bought a couple more pairs and I rarely wear anything different in winter months.

Here's the best part.  They are Darn Tough.  I've burned through pairs of other brands relatively quickly, but not these.  These hold up, and they are gauranteed to last a lifetime.  You can bet I'll test that out and send them in for warranty if they do break down. These socks are expensive but worth every penny.  Mine were just over $20, and it is money well spent.

Thanks Darn Tough!  Well done!
