Last week Custom Archery & Outdoors had an open house that several of my friends and I attended.  We got to to check out some of their latest inventory, demo techno hunt (my favorite), and get our bows tuned up for the upcoming season.

My old man got a robin hood while we were there too!

Also, our friend Melissa got to try archery for the first time, and she gave us a run for the money.

I talked earlier about how I expected archery to be a long journey to being able to hit a target.  I was surprised that within a few months I was getting pretty decent.  Now I'm a pretty good shot at 40+ yards.  Nick, Chad, and Randy have all given me some tips and got me going, and that's what they are there for.

Another example was Melissa who tried her first time, and was drilling the target after just a short lesson.  She was so excited she sent pictures to her mom!
