Construction due to the floods in the Northland in June of 2012 continue.  This time in the form of culvert repairs.  Temporary detours will need to be put in place starting Wednesday, October 15 and it may affect your travel.  Here's the details.

Access to Congdon Boulevard between 7801 Congdon Boulevard and 90th Ave East will be affected due to culvert repairs related to the June 2012 Flood.

You will see temporary concrete safety barriers in some locations along the shoulder of 7801 Congdon Boulevard up to 90th Avenue East.  They are there because some of the guard rails have shifted in the area that was impacted by slope erosion from the flood.

Your travel may be affected by a detour that starts today. The detour route will be from Lakewood Road to McQuade Road, routed along Highway 61. Congdon Boulevard will be open to local traffic. This project is expected to be completed next year.
