We frequently hear of the dangers of distracted driving, yet we still see people cruising along while peeking at their phone, eating food, or other things that can take their eyes off the road.  Sadly, it sometimes takes a tragedy to wake people up to the real dangers of distracted driving.

Our media partners at WDIO.com had this great story on Paige Anderson and her recent visit to Proctor high school to share her tragic distracted driving story.

Paige was involved in an accident that left her paralyzed from the stomach down while killing one passenger and causing brain damage to the driver.  All because of a distracted driver.

Despite her obstacles, she is going to school for her career choice.  She is also bravely using her story to educate people, and make them realize how crucial it is to pay attention at all times when behind the wheel of an automobile.

Here is her story.
