Country Throwback Revisits the Ghostly Legend Of Wooley Swamp [VIDEO]

With Halloween upon us, it's the perfect time for my Country Throwback to go back 35 years with The Charlie Daniels Band and "The Legend Of Wooley Swamp". 

This song tells the tale of Lucius Clay, a greedy and elderly man who lived near Wooley Swamp in Booger Woods, which is my favorite name. As the legend goes, some trouble making brothers who live nearby decide to kill the old man to take his money.  Their plan doesn't quite work out the way they had planned.
