Country Throwback Honors Arbor Month with Alan Jackson

May is Arbor Month, where we are to celebrate trees in all their glory, including the health benefits that they provide on a daily basis. With trees in mind for my Country Throwback, I instantly thought of a number one hit from Alan Jackson.

"Tall, Tall Trees" was actually co-written by George Jones and Roger Miller, and both did record versions of the song. However, Alan Jackson was the first to release the tune as a single.

Released in 1995, it would become Jackson's eleventh number one hit. Enjoy the official video, featuring actress Monica Potter.
