With the 4th Of July holiday coming, the obvious choice for my Country Throwback was a song honoring America.  There are so many great songs about our country, but I thought I'd focus on the last big hit from Aaron Tippin.

"Where The Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly" was released just after the September, 2001 attacks on America.  The song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, being held from the top spot by Alan Jackson's "Where Where You  (When The World Stopped Turning)".

Aaron donated all the proceeds from the single to the American Red Cross to support the families of attack victims.

Below is the official video for the song.  Have a great holiday weekend!
