Country Throwback Honors a Special Day Arriving This Friday

I hope you remember what day it is this Friday. If not, you may find yourself at the wrong end of a prank as it is once again April Fools Day. In honor of this mischievous day, my mind went right to an early hit from Lee Ann Womack for my Country Throwback.

"The Fool" was released in May of 1997 and it just missed becoming a number one hit for Lee Ann, peaking at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. If everyone hadn't fallen in love with Lee Ann's voice prior to this song, this certainly sealed the deal.
