Country Legends Take the Stage On the Final Day of the Minnesota State Fair; Get the Complete Schedule Here

Time really does fly when you're having fun and today is the final day of the Great Minnesota Get Together.  The final 2015 performance in the Grandstand tonight features two timeless legends of country music.

Today is Kids Last Chance Day with Mighty Midway & Kidway discounts all day.  You can also enjoy last Chance bargains throughout the fair and Celebrate Hmong Minnesota Day at Carousel Park.

Keep in mind that the Barns and CHS Miracle of Birth Center will close early today.

Tonight, Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson, along with special guest Sturgill Simpson, perform in the Grandstand.  Over the course of a remarkably prolific five-decade career, Merle Haggard has released close to 70 albums and 600 songs, 250 of which he has written himself.  Country Music Hall of Famer and Golden Globe Winner Kris Kristofferson has nearly 30 albums under his belt, and the 78-year-old is still singing classics and writing hits with the likes of Willie Nelson and Merle.
