You always buy merchandise for your baby with the utmost confidence in the manufacturer.  That's why it's so hard to understand why a product made specifically for babies could cause skull fractures.  SKULL fractures!!!  If you own a Bumbo Baby Seat, please read this!  If you know someone with a baby, please pass this on!!!They didn't have Bumbo Baby Seats when my daughter Kylee was young, so this was the first time I had even heard of them.  One skull fracture is too many, let alone two dozen!

The issue is that babies can wiggle out of the floor seats. Some parents don't keep the Bumbo on the floor, they put it on a table or counter top and the unthinkable happens.  At least 50 babies have fallen while the Bumbo has been on a raised surface.

Do not return the Bumbo seat to retailers.  Instead, they are offering a free repair kit to remedy the situation.  You can get one [here].

If you already have your repair kit, you can watch a video on how to use it properly [here].

More info can be found at the US Product Safety Commission.
